Is Dyslexia a Problem?
Dyslexia causes difficulties in quite specific areas of learning. Dyslexia is a neurobiological condition that has a negative impact on a large segment of the population.

For those who have it and are not treated, dyslexia is a life altering disability. It keeps otherwise normal, intelligent people from reaching their potential in life. Things such as reading a menu or a job application become difficult or impossible. In a world where we are dependent on the written word for our livelihoods, dyslexia is a critical issue.

The untreated dyslexic pays a very high emotional and ultimately financial price. For those rare instances where an untreated dyslexic succeeds and does well, thousands suffer and fail despite all of their efforts, to reach their potential.
